Quality and governance

Our approach to safety

Safety is extremely important to us. We want everyone who uses our services to feel confident that they will be well cared for and to feel safe and secure at all times.

We’re regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator for health and adult social care in England. Every year the CQC carry out an audit of our services in each location and produce a report with their findings and a rating of our services.

Our approach to governance

We operate a robust approach to the governance of our services, which are underpinned by the CQC’s 11 fundamental standards of care. Our Clinical Governance Steering Group, a multi-functional team representing different parts of our business, is responsible for making sure that we meet the CQC’s standards and that we continue to maintain the highest levels of safety across all areas of our business.

If you’d like to know more about our approach to governance, please email our Head of Quality & Compliance.
