When Employee of the Month was implemented into the business earlier this year, it quickly became clear that we have a fantastic team of individuals  who actively live our values every day.

March was a difficult month to judge. There were a number of brilliant nominations, and in the end the decision was made to award not one, but two individuals with the Employee of the Month title.

The first lady to receive the prize, pictured to the right with her certificate, is Elaine who is based in our Great Yarmouth base. Elaine has been working as an Ambulance Care Assistant for an impressive 22 years, and has a reputation for her patient first approach. It was not a surprise, therefore, that Elaine received a lovely compliment from a consultant at James Paget Hospital.

The consultant happened to be watching when Elaine delivered an elderly patient to the clinic. They stated that Elaine gave the patient exceptionally considerate care, and is a credit to the service. High praise indeed!

A huge thank-you to Elaine from everyone at E-zec for your compassion, your hard-work and your dedication.

The second winner of Employee of the Month is Clare, who is based at our Ipswich base. As we are all acutely aware, we are in the midst of a pandemic which has resulted in the most vulnerable members of our society being required to isolate at home to remain safe.

When Clare became aware of this she went over and above to ensure that our most vulnerable patients were looked after, and began donating food parcels with items supplied by herself, and her friends. The food parcels also included her personal phone number so that the patients could contact her should they need any support with food shopping, sending mail, or just simply wished to have a chat over the phone.

Again, a huge thank-you Clare. This is a wonderful example of the compassion and care that we need, not just in the business, but in the wider communities. Those patients are very lucky to have your support.

Thank you to everyone who nominated their colleagues for March 2020. We look forward to being able to share our next winner from April’s nominations.
