The months are rolling by so quickly, we can hardly believe that we’re now over halfway through 2020. Each new month brings new Employee of the Month nominations, and we’re always very excited to see what great work our employees are doing out in the field. We are delighted to share our winners for April 2020 and May 2020.

April 2020

Our winner for April is Joss Mullett from the Great Yarmouth contract. When stocks were low and E-zec were awaiting deliveries, Joss went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the team at Great Yarmouth had adequate PPE. Joss was able to greatly boost the supplies of hand gel, aprons and over sleeves, and he also managed to procure goggles from B&Q Hardware stores, who very kindly donated their entire stock to the Great Yarmouth base. Furthermore, Joss has been tirelessly approaching local firms to ensure that we have a suitable amount of face masks.

This is an excellent example of thinking out of the box, and his team have directly benefitted from his tireless tenacity. A huge thank-you to Joss for everything you have done for Great Yarmouth, and nationally, it is greatly appreciated.

Our winner for May is Carl Cheadle who is based in Suffolk. Carl was nominated due to his excellent patient care, work ethic and willingness to offer support to his colleagues.

Carl is incredibly helpful, even if it means working over his shift or helping people with the sorting of their linen for cleaning at the hospital. He is willing to take on overtime shifts if required and is happy to answer any questions that the new starters may have. He is extremely proactive and, if he isn’t busy, will actively look for extra work to do.

Carl is a fantastic asset to the Suffolk area and we are delighted to have him working for the E-zec service. Thank you for everything you do for your colleagues and your patients.

Thank you to all of our nominees, and to our employees who have taken the time to nominate their colleagues. We look forward to seeing who will be receiving the Employee of the Month award for June.
