With our proven track record in providing quality NEPT services throughout the UK since 1998, E-zec has been awarded the contract to provide transport for all Staffordshire CCGs. The service includes all non-emergency transport for patients to and from a healthcare setting within the North and South Staffordshire area.

The majority of the journeys in North Staffordshire will commence on the 1st of August 2016, with the remaining being integrated with South Staffordshire on the 1st of October 2016.

As a business we are delighted to be awarded this contract and we are committed to ensure the people of Staffordshire receive the very best level of care whilst being transported by our teams. Trust healthcare professionals will also see a significant difference in the service as our teams introduce new systems and ways of working to enhance the patient’s experience. This includes:

• On-line bookings and book ready for trust healthcare professionals
• Patient transport liaison officers within selected hospitals
• Dedicated Paramedic led compliance team
• Dedicated renal drivers
• Patient liaison officers (renal unit based)
• New fleet of vehicles

This is a very exciting time for us at E-zec and to ensure that we are capable of mobilising contracts of this size, we have, over the past 17 years reinvested heavily back in the business to ensure our corporate structure can adapt to growth. The majority of our senior team have been with the company for many years with 4 managers sharing over 60 years’ experience in mobilising and operating NEPT services. Our mobilisation teams are looking forward to the challenges ahead.
